Amazon unveils two new fulfilment centres in Tamil Nadu

Amazon India has unveiled two new fulfilment centres in Chennai and Coimbatore, both in Tamil Nadu, to offer faster deliveries to its customers in the upcoming festive season. The two new fulfilment centre's join an already existing Chennai centre and are spread over nearly 200,000 square feet with over 900,000 cubic feet of storage space.

With the launch of these two fulfilment centres, Amazon India has 27 operational fulfilment centres in 10 states across the country, with a combined storage space of close to 7.5 million cubic feet.

“For our customers, these fulfilment centres bring us closer to them in the region and will not only support our Prime program promise of one-day and two-day delivery, but will also allow us to efficiently serve them this festive season,” Akhil Saxena, vice president, India Customer Fulfilment at Amazon India said.
