Christopher Veit appointed as top management team member

Christopher Veit has been appointed as a member of the top management team of VEIT Group, a leading manufacturer of garment processing equipments in Germany.
From 2012 to 2015, Christopher Veit was managing the group's Chinese subsidiary. Within VEIT Group, he is now in charge of global manufacturing, research and development and human resources.
The new vice president is currently focusing on updating the corporate planning process as well as the VEIT Vision. Additionally, core production processes in Landsberg and the future product portfolio are at the centre of his attention, according to a press release.
Christopher Veit said, “In order to responsibly manage a modern business, we need a strategy to implement sustainability from three perspectives namely economically, socially, and ecologically. In the past years we have been able to set an important stimulus with our eco-friendly, ergonomic machines. This is a path we want to continue. We endeavour to set new standards in quality and technology and to strengthen our market leadership.” (GK)
