Innerwear brand Dollar ventures into jeanswear

Leading hosiery brand Dollar Club announced its entry to lifestyle segment with its much awaited Jeans brand “FORCE”, which is strategically called “Made By Who You Are”. Mr. Vinod Kumar Gupta, MD, Dollar Industries Ltd was present to speak on this initiative.

The company's endeavour is to provide trend-setting solutions to meet the needs of Indian consumers, which will truly get fulfilled with this launch. A complete range of Jeanswear with excellent fit from Basic to Fashion; casual and also semi-casual, FORCE will surely sway the latest fashion industry. FORCE will be initially launched in the Eastern part of India and then target the entire Fashion Trade markets in the country before the upcoming festive seasons.

Jeans today has become second skin for today's generation. Research shows that denim consumers mainly consist of young, independent and ambitious section of society. Banking on this huge deluge of such aspiring consumers, most of the leading clothing lines in the country have ventured into Jeanswear. It has a vast scope and this is the reason behind why international brands are coming into collaboration.

Jeanswear market currently stands at Rs. 6000 crores. The estimated to grow is at 15-20% CAGR over the next three to five years, whereas the annual sales pegged at around 25 million pairs. The gender profiles of consumers who buy Jeans are 76% men, 17% women and 7% kids. The company plans to gain the maximum market share with its new launch within next 5 financial years.
