Magic Moments is one of the premiere retailers of designer prom dresses on the internet. An authorized seller of over fifty designers, they are back from the Atlanta Prom Market to announce all the latest trends for 2012. With the vast styles revealed at the Atlanta Prom Market, even the pickiest graduate will find the dress to make her feel like a star on Prom Night.

This coming year's prom dresses for spring 2012 feature a number of distinct styles, from classic to modern to soft and sexy. Traditional, long prom dresses are still prevalent, but are offset by a number of shorter styles. Short cocktail dresses that feature a number of trims and details, hem well above the knee and are appropriate for either an afternoon cocktail party or for prom night.

Elia Rubinstein, owner of Magic Moments, stated "I see lots of spring pastel colors, like coral and blues, coming up for spring 2012. Plus many hi low with ruffle skirts---very fun and cha cha. Feathers galore too!" One style she thinks will be a hit this prom season is rhinestone and bling with a new "shattered mirror effect".

Prom gowns and cocktail dresses alike are brought to life with impeccable details. Beads and sequins are still hot and add sparkle to any dress. Large sequins add a flashy, sultry sparkle, while small beads add a subtle touch of class. Rhinestones, on the other hand, take flashy to a new level, creating an ultimate bling look. Feathers add a softer detail, in feathered fringes as well as feather print fabrics.

Fabrics used in prom dresses 2012 range from soft and classy to textured and vibrant. Grecian-style, chiffon drapes abound. Fabrics are dyed a rainbow of colors, from pastels to bold reds and corals, to jewel tones and metallics. Solid colors are popular, but there are still a number of animal prints, floral prints and geometric designs. Black is commonly combined with white or silver for the ultimate in sophistication.

This year's dresses boast silhouettes as varied as their fabrics and colors. Corseted bodices are commonly seen on traditional ball gown styles. Side cutouts and mermaid style dresses are both seen with a number of different fabrics and details. The shorter cocktail dresses often have the fullest skirts or come with feather fringe. A number of dresses come with tear-away skirt extensions that allow the wearer to change their silhouette with ease.

Of the fifty designer's dresses featured, some of the most popular include Jovani prom dresses, Alyce prom dresses, La Femme prom dresses, Flirt prom dresses and Tony Bowls dresses. These, however, are only a few of the many, beautiful designer prom dresses sold by Magic Moments. The full 2012 prom dress selection will be coming soon to be viewed online and in store. Keep in touch with Magic Moments for all the latest styles and prom dress trends arriving soon!
