The conference showed that brands now react very swiftly and are developing an extremely international sourcing process that meets their needs and the demands of their calendars.
Sourcing in Haiti illustrated this trend very well. Until the launch of apparelsourcing, the country was virtually unknown on the market. Now, however, it is regarded with interest not only by European buyers, especially those from North Europe, but also by Canadians and Asians, many of whom came to make contact with representatives of the Haiti cluster at the fair.
The next apparelsourcing will be held in Paris-Le Bourget from 13 to 16 February 2012.
