L'eggs Hosiery ties up with Dress for Success
Oct '11
L'eggs hosiery, America's favorite hosiery brand, announced a partnership with Dress for Success, an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women.

In honor of the partnership, L'eggs hosiery will also donate up to 12,000 pairs of legwear to Dress for Success through a virtual legwear drive on Facebook. Beginning Sept 19th, every person who "likes" L'eggs on Facebook and clicks "Help L'eggs Donate," the brand will donate one pair of legwear to Dress for Success, up to 12,000 pairs.

"We think this partnership with Dress for Success is a perfect marriage of our brand's vision and what it means to help women feel and look good from the inside out," said Angela Hawkins, director and general manager of legwear at HanesBrands, which owns the L'eggs brand. "We will also post Dress for Success' monthly featured success story on our Facebook page. We feel sharing the success stories of women who have taken control of their destiny will inspire others to do the same," she added.

In 1970 the L'eggs brand revolutionized the industry by being the first hosiery brand to gain national distribution in food, drug, and mass retail stores. L'eggs is second-most recognized apparel brand according to Women's Wear Daily and the leading legwear brand in food/drug/mass.

Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 110 cities in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, the UK and the West Indies. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 600,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.
