More and more fashion accessories brands at kleine fabriek

The fourteenth edition of Kleine Fabriek will take place in Amsterdam January 2012. For many children's wear retailers, cross-selling of fashion accessories is becoming more important. Indeed, you will find a growing number of accessory brands at kleine fabriek.

Hats, scarfs, legwear, belts and jewelry: a growing role for accessories for both consumers and retailers in the industry can be noted. "Kids are very open to fashion trends, they love accessories", says Anke Goossens of Le Big. Le Big has been exhibiting at kleine fabriek since the first show. As of last winter the collection has been extended and now includes accessories, next to its legwear.

"For retailers it is essential to stay attuned to trends. They see the advantages of accessories in this regard. It's a great way to spice up the assortment, and it only takes a small investment." Leg wear brand Bonnie Doon is a regular at kleine fabriek as well.

The company's designer Roset van der Elst believes that especially in today's economy accessories are becoming more important, as last year's winter coat looks like a current season one with just a new scarf. Also, accessories are easy to order throughout the season.

"Retailers can order by the ounce as we call it. As we have the items in stock, they are delivered on short notice." Another advantage according to Goossens: "Accessories are great gifts. Perfect for birthdays and Christmas shopping."

Fashion accessories at this winter's kleine fabriek include hats, scarfs and gloves by Barts and Döll. Lodger will show its new collection, inspired by the fifties. We also have belts by Cowboys Belts, Trickle and Petrol. Bags by Photo-Label, Zebratrends, Design Heroes and Vingino. Jewelry and hair accessoires will be represented by Gooische Frutsels, Heppiedi, Hairclippy and as always Burlington, Falke and Ewers present the newest legwear at kleine fabriek.
