The Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF) is working to help Canadian fashion exporters launch their lines in Europe. CAF is working with a marketing consultant to help arrange meetings between Canadian firms and agents/distributors in the UK (London and Birmingham) and in Germany (Dusseldorf).
These meetings are intended to coincide with market weeks/trade shows.
The program for Dusseldorf coincides with the CPD Signature show/market week, Feb. 4 to 6, 2012. For the UK, the program coincides with Moda UK (Birmingham) Feb. 19-21, 2012 and the Pure London trade show (Feb. 12-14, 2012). Services to exporters include the following:
• Planning of meetings with qualified sales / distribution organizations
• Advice and recommendations concerning market demands, line offerings and shipping and customs
• And more…
The Canadian Apparel Federation works to ensure that the industry's interests are taken into account.
