Iran evinces interest in Turkish innerwear

At the 9th International Istanbul Ready-to-Wear Fair (IFEXPO 2012), Iran and other Caucasian countries evinced keen interest in importing innerwear and socks from Turkey.
Normally, Turkish companies go to Europe to promote their innerwear and other products. For them, the fair proved that their products are in demand even in other countries, and customers from those countries are coming to Turkey to buy the same.
The fair underscored that Iran can be a significant market for Turkish innerwear exporters, especially from Denizli in Aegean region that is famous for textiles.
Turkish entrepreneurs now look forward to enhance their ties with Iranian companies.
Besides Iran, some other countries that showed interest in Turkish innerwear were Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Iraq, Moldova and Ukraine.
The IFEXPO Fair was visited by more than 15,000 buyers from various countries.
