Charanga, the Spanish kids' apparel brand, has entered the UAE market with the launch of its first outlet at the Dubai Mall.

The brand, which operates over 250 outlets around the world, intends to launch 30 new stores in the GCC region over the next three years with Liwa Trading Enterprises as its sole distributor for the region.

Based in Andalusia, Charanga operates a high-tech facility in Malaga Technological Park, and has established itself as a well-known brand in the children's fashion segment.

Catering to children in the age group of 0-14, the Spanish brand offers a wide range of apparel for all occasions.

Charanga's opening of its new outlet in the UAE is a part of its effort to earn recognition for its fun and quality clothing brand in the region's emerging retail space.

Charanga is adopting an aggressive strategy for expansion in world markets, particularly in the Middle East market. It is focusing on Brazil, Russia and the Middle East for global expansion plans, and is even looking at local and European markets.

However, the Middle East region is currently the main focus of Charanga's expansion plans, as the company views the region as a very luring and competitive market for its retail business, which has established new quality and style standards across the globe.
