Southern Glove unveils new gloves to protect rugged hand

Industrial glove manufacturer Southern Glove Inc. has announced that it has added a new product to its comprehensive line of industrial gloves. The new glove, named Arma Tuff, is designed to provide rugged hand protection with exceptional comfort.

“While it’s not as impact-resistant as our exclusive Sarco Impact Glove, our new Arma Tuff glove is exceptionally tough and more comfortable to wear,” explained Jeff Carter, Vice President of Sales, Southern Glove.

The Arma Tuff glove is designed for manufacturing environments where sharp or jagged metal objects, glass or abrasives are handled, such as the oil and gas drilling, mining, and steel and lumber industries. A woven Para-aramid outer shell provides excellent resistance to cuts, abrasions and heat, yet the Arma Tuff is designed to be extremely comfortable and is available with a Thinsulate lining and a waterproof Hipora glove insert.

“With its unique combination of rugged protection and extreme comfort, the Arma Tuff glove makes an outstanding new addition to our line of industrial gloves designed to help our customers protect both their employees and their businesses,” Carter concluded.

Headquartered in Newton, North Carolina, Southern Glove is a family-owned and operated industrial glove manufacturer, providing top-quality industrial work gloves, hand and arm protection products and industrial aprons to customers throughout the United States since 1945.
