Carhartt, America's premium work wear brand since 1889 launches an all-new inherently flame-resistant (FR) apparel program including a work shirt, a relaxed-fit work pant and a work coverall. Carhartt, known worldwide as a legendary work wear brand with a history of developing rugged apparel for workers both on the job and off, together with TenCate, known across the globe as a leading innovator in FR fabrics, announced their collaboration for this premier apparel offering back in May.

Carhartt's new inherent FR program will be offered in Tencate's Tecasafe Plus fabric in two colors and weights and is available this fall through Carhartt distributors, retailers and online.

"Through this new program, Carhartt delivers more options to our customers with an inherent FR fabric that will help keep them safe and compliant on the job in petrochemical and electric utility industries among others," said Tom Kiddle, Director of Industrial Sales at Carhartt. "We are very pleased with our collaboration with TenCate, and together, we are delivering the industry best-in-class FR solutions from two well-established work wear brands."

The FR Work Shirt (100167), a 5.8-ounce proprietary blend of FR modacrylic/ lyocell/ aramid, offers two chest pockets with flap and button closures, extended sleeve plackets with two-button adjustable cuffs, FR melamine buttons throughout, button-down collar with button closure, Carhartt's signature triple-stitched main seams for added durability, Carhartt FR and HRC 1 labels sewn visibly on the left chest pocket. This garment meets NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards. Offered in Khaki and Dark Navy.

The FR Work Coverall (100162), a 7-ounce proprietary blend of FR modacrylic/ lyocell/ aramid, offers two chest pockets with flaps, two pass-through pockets, left-leg utility band, multiple tool and utility pockets, spread collar, brass front zipper with Nomex FR zipper tape for added protection, split-back construction, pleated bi-swing for added range of motion, Carhartt's signature triple-stitched main seams, generous leg openings to fit comfortably over work boots, Carhartt FR label sewn visibly on back and front pockets, HRC 2 label sewn visibly on left-chest pocket. Carhartt offers one of the most complete lines of FR clothing for men and women in the business.
