Luxury innerwear label Eminence plans EBOs across India

Eminence, the premier men’s and women’s luxury innerwear label from France, brought to India in 2009 by Maxwell Industries Limited, is soon going to launch its own set of exclusive outlets in the country. 
Mr. Sunil Pathare, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Maxwell Industries Ltd, in an interview with Fibre2fashion, confirmed the new plans of the label. “The brand is looking to take considerable market share in the premium fashion market segment. To do this it will be merchandised through all the formats of trade,” he said.
“Currently it is present in General Trade and Modern Trade. We are planning to open exclusive stores (EBO) for the brand to provide its consumers a complete experience of the label,” he adds.
When questioned about the speciality of the brand, he replies, “The brand’s uniqueness comes from the kind of fabric and the designing that is being incorporated to make the product. The brand uses highly-evolved skin-friendly fibres coupled with immaculate designs and styling that gives the consumer a perfect blend of functional benefit and fashion quotient.” 
Informing about the current and future addition to the product portfolio of the brand, he mentions, “Currently we have 25 products in our portfolio and we intend to infuse another 15 products to the portfolio.”
Currently, Eminence has presence in over 1800 MBOs across the country. It also has presence in Central Mall and Pantaloons in modern format trade.
Revealing the future expansion plans, Mr. Pathare says, “Currently we are concentrating to make our presence stronger in India itself. We also have plans to go beyond Indian boundaries in future.”
