Cintas Corp wins 'Best Stock Design' 2012 award

Cintas, the only overseas organization to win one of the prestigious, London-based awards, was recognized for its Double-Breasted Houndstooth Tunic during an awards ceremony held April 17 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK.

More than 120 entries from across 15 countries were received for the Professional Clothing Awards, which were judged by a panel of experts in uniform development, design and fashion. The awards were divided into three sections covering Business Managers, Suppliers and those for ‘PPE Innovation’—a category initiated by SATRA, a world-leading technology centre specializing in the research, development and testing of a wide range of products.

Available in women’s and misses sizes, Cintas’ Double-Breasted Houndstooth Tunic is a fashionable and environmentally-friendly option for women in hospitality. In addition, the tunic is comprised of 50 percent recycled polyester, which is created by diverting plastic bottles from landfills and transforming them into recycled polyester fibers. For added sustainability, the Double-Breasted Houndstooth Tunic can be home laundered, eliminating the need for costly dry cleaning services that use potentially caustic chemicals.
