Dick's Sporting to open four new stores in Oklahoma City

Dick's Sporting Goods, the largest U.S. based full-line sporting goods retailer, invites the community of Oklahoma City to celebrate the opening of the retailers' four new stores in the Oklahoma City metro area with a three-day grand opening weekend of festivities.

The new stores, located in Shops at Quail Springs, Fritts Farm (Moore, OK), Westgate Marketplace, and Town Center Plaza (Midwest City, OK), will open their doors on Wednesday, October 31 and kick off the weekend of festivities on Friday, November 2 with ribbon cutting ceremonies at 8:00 a.m. Special store hours will be in effect for all locations for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"We're pleased to be opening four new Dick's Sporting Goods store in Oklahoma City, which will enable us to better serve the needs of athletes in the community," said Lauren Hobart, Dick's Sporting Goods Chief Marketing Officer. "With our unsurpassed customer service and the best equipment in the industry, we look forward to a strong presence in Oklahoma City."

Throughout the weekend, Dick's Sporting Goods will be hosting a variety of activities including special appearances by the Dick's 4,000 gallon bass tank along with bass fishing professionals and Dick's Ultimate Shootout archery trailer. There will also be chances to win giveaway prizes such as an Epic A35T Treadmill, a Nishiki Kinzua29 Limited Edition bicycle.

On Saturday, Dick’s invites fans to each location to watch the Oklahoma Sooners battle the Iowa State Cyclones on a Jumbotron TVs as part of DICK'S Saturday tailgate events.
