The CPM kids segment as part of the forthcoming CPM (Collection Première Moscow) responds to this challenge. Over the duration from 26 February to 1 March 2013 renowned exhibitors from 12 countries will once again present themselves in the CPM kids segment of Hall 2.3. Boasting special growth in terms of size and exhibitor numbers are the principal stands from Germany, Italy and Spain. The collections for the 2013/14 Autumn/Winter season are colourful, trendy and individual. This trade fair will be the 20th edition of this order platform.
According to a study by GVA Sawyer commissioned by the Russian Childrenswear Association (APIDT), the market for kids’ fashion, shoes and accessories, toys and care products posted a 15% increase in 2011.
This corresponds to a retail market value of US$14.5 billion – impressive figures that underpin the success of the exhibitors at CPM kids. The likes of BÓBOLI I CATIMINI I FERRARI I HILFIGER KIDS I JOHN GALLIANO I PAULFRANK I MARC JACOBS I MARC O‘ POLO JUNIOR I LAURA BIAGOTTI I MAYORAL IMOSCHINO, to name but a few, have discovered this market for themselves at an early stage.
“Due to the high number of exhibitors present at the anniversary edition of CPM in February next year there will be a dedicated CPM kids catalogue. By launching this catalogue we are responding to requests from both specialist retailers and manufacturers to obtain a rapid and targeted overview of ranges.
“Daily catwalk shows at the Showcase in Hall 2.3 round off this spectrum,” says Christian Kasch, Project Director of CPM. Vying for customer loyalty starts at an early age. This is because suppliers of high-fashion kids’ collections aim to get children hooked on fashion already while they are growing up.
Everyone remembers their first trendy jeans or the first hip T-shirt they ever bought of their favourite brand! The next CPM – COLLECTION PREMIÈRE MOSCOW will be held on Tuesday, 26 February to Friday, 1 March 2013 at the Expo centre in Moscow.
