"I've used aerie as an intimate’s resource for years. Their intimates are always fresh, pretty and fit impeccably, and I love that aerie is about real girls who are wearing fun undies as a part of their everyday wardrobe, to the point where it becomes a must-have accessory. Those intimates have helped me tell the stories of real girls, pretty girls and fun girls," said Jenn Rogien. "When the opportunity to collaborate with aerie came up, it was a perfect fit!"
"We are thrilled to have Jenn Rogien come on board and work alongside the aerie team. Her style, charisma and knowledge of fashion, fit and fabrics are an incredible asset for our customers. We are excited to share with them her expertise and point of view; she really understands what modern girls want and need," said Director of Marketing, Dana Seguin.
Jenn Rogien’s costume designing skills and industry credibility perfectly demonstrate her understanding of the wardrobe needs of the aerie Girl who is fun, feminine and pretty both inside and out. The characters that she dresses as the Costume Designer for GIRLS, as well as her past and current projects, are young, honest and fresh. Jenn is also currently the Costume Designer for the new Jenji Kohan NETFLIX series "Orange is the New Black," scheduled for release in 2013.
Jenn brings a story-driven mindset and a keen eye for quirky characters having worked on projects like Across the Universe, Lipstick Jungle, The Good Wife, Bored to Death, KINGS, Baby Mama and more. Jenn graduated from Yale, where she started the university's first fashion magazine, and began her career in retail in New York City.
Her love for theatrical design persisted, and she returned to study fashion design at Parsons School of Design, finding a career in costume design a perfect way to combine her passion for fashion and her love of theater.
