Big Tall Direct to participate in BATA trade show

Every year, hundreds of big and tall store buyers meet in a central venue to view merchandise trends and make plans to book merchandise for delivery for the early Fall of the next year. “Just as we get finished with a selling a season, we analyze what categories and styles have sold well, what styles and categories have sold poorly, make clearance decisions based upon inventory position, and then attend tradeshows to plan and purchase for the next year,” said Robert Schlein, President. “Based on our own internal analysis, we expect core basics and our ability to have well stocked positions every day to become even more important to our business,” he added.

Big and Tall Men purchase pocket tees, sweatshirts, sweat pants, jeans, and cotton pants in significant numbers. This year’s shortages of Jeans during Christmas impacted sales negatively and Big Tall Direct will look at inventory levels and make adjustments.

Big Tall Direct, one of the largest online web-sellers of clothes for the big and tall man, experienced a downward sales trend for December after a fairly flat selling period in November.
