PGA TOUR Superstore announced its second store on the West Coast will be in Irvine, CA.  The 50,000 square-foot superstore, located in the Alton Marketplace Shopping Center at Santa Ana Freeway I-5 and Technology Drive, is scheduled to open later this year.

"We are excited to be expanding into Southern California, which encompasses one of the nation's most renowned golf areas in the country," said PGA TOUR Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan. "Whether they are casual or devoted players, our goal is to build relationships with our customers by providing a great experience in an inviting environment.  Our customers will quickly learn, "If it's on TOUR, it's in here!"

With the addition of this store, the number of PGA TOUR Superstores will increase nationwide to 17.  PGA TOUR Superstore currently has three stores in metro Atlanta; two each in Chicago, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, SC and Phoenix; one each in Denver and Paramus, NJ; two in Florida: Naples and Delray Beach and one opening this spring in East Palo Alto, CA.  The stores are owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired Home Depot co-founder and owner of the Atlanta Falcons.

"We make it easy to get in, and stay in, the game of golf," Black said. "Our new customers will quickly see that we are equipped to serve a broad range of golfers, with an emphasis on offering the industry's best brands, fitting products to each customer's needs, and providing the broadest array of golf services. We look forward to bringing our store's products, services and expertise to golfers in Southern California, and to being a positive contributor in the community."
