Kalamandir bags 'Regional Fashion Retailer of Year' award

The 13th edition of the Images Fashion Awards was held on 22nd march 2013 in Mumbai to felicitate the industry titans for their significant contribution towards the industry's growth.

Kalamandir, Retailer of Indian traditional wear stole the limelight by walking away with Most Admired Regional Fashion Retailer of the year - South in Images Fashion Awards (IFA) 2013.

Elated at Kalamandir Most Admired Regional fashion Retailer of the year - South. Mr. Kalyan Annam, Director Kalamandir Said "Kalamandir has been pioneering design and retail innovation in the lifestyle category and has earned the trust of its customers for expertise. We have introduced novel designs year-on-year, in order to match the evolving customer preferences and complement the budding taste of the next generation.

Adding further Kalyan Annam said, "The past year has been a year of great achievements with Kalamandir further strengthening its stake as the pioneering brand in South India. Capitalising on its design and retail expertise, Kalamandir has sustained its dominant position in the South Indian traditional wear segment while achieving recognition at significant platforms.

About Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Ltd:

We are an upcoming retail house in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karanataka in Southern India focusing primarily on traditional women wear of India i.e. Sarees.We operate 15 retail stores (company-owned) out of which 4 are in Hyderabad, 7 in Bangalore, 1 each in Vijaywada Guntur,Kancheepuram and Hanamakonda.

These 15 outlets are spread over about 129035 sq feet. started as a retailer of sarees in Hyderabad in August 2005 at a very modest scale with a Retail Outlet with a floor space of 2000 square feet in Ameerpet, Hyderabad and displayed the traditional sarees like Silk Sarees, Hand loom Sarees, Synthetic Sarees, etc.
