SHUKR Islamic Clothing unveils new S/S collection

SHUKR Islamic Clothing, a leading producer of modest and Islamic clothing for Muslims in the West, has just released its newest spring and summer Islamic clothing collection, including: long sleeve shirts, tunics, long dresses, abayas, jilbabs, and plus size dresses.

The new designs are made from lightweight summer fabrics such as bamboo rayon and cotton jersey blends.

“Our new lightweight fabrics are designed for hot summer weather, while our designs keep you modest,” said Anas Sillwood, Managing Partner, SHUKR Islamic Clothing.

“Dressing modestly in hot weather can be such a challenge. We are delighted to serve persons of all faiths whose beliefs encourage them to dress modestly, while keeping cool.”

Over the years, SHUKR has attracted a loyal customer base of people searching for summer clothing that meets Islamic standards of dress and Western sensibilities, while still staying cool in hot weather.

This collection includes long sleeve shirts, long dresses, long skirts, and wide leg jeans—which are quite difficult to find in mainstream clothing stores.

“We consider it part of our mission to provide well-designed lightweight Islamic and modest clothing for both men and women, as it helps to meet a clear need for modest summer clothing,” said Sillwood. “I recommend trying our bamboo rayon and cotton blend fabric. The result is a practical, comfortable fabric which is gorgeous to wear and look at.”
