M&S to unveil A/W line with focus on reworked classicism

Traditional menswear staples take on a new flair; checks are oversized, herringbone weaves are casual and scaled up, leather detailing trims wool outerwear and layering is slick, combining dark on dark styling.

Suiting also plays into the modern reworking of classic pieces. The range includes double breasted, wide lapel jackets in the finest chalk stripe fabric, cut on a slimmer block for an updated silhouette.

Considered details are important, and play a key part in the refined look of the season, with working cuffs, trims under collars and intricate prints epitomising the new masculine look.

Texture and layering come into their own in the winter season, and claret and mustard make the perfect pairing of optimistic colour. For the most casual of looks, vintage ski inspired styles, in an array of strong confident colours, represent true winter.
