The garments will be sold in CASA’s thrift store to fund community programming aimed at stopping domestic violence. The CASA thrift store also provides quality products at reduced prices for those in need.
CASA’s vision is a community without domestic violence so that home is a safe place. CASA provides refuge, crisis intervention, advocacy, professional training and community outreach to victims of domestic violence in Pinellas County, Fla.
“We are so grateful for the community support we receive in recognition of the vital services CASA offers to make a better life for all who live here,” says Linda Osmundson, Executive Director of Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA).
“Superior Uniform Group is pleased to be able to make such a positive impact in our local community,” said Superior Uniform Group’s CEO Michael Benstock. “The donation allows CASA to fund programs with the revenue generated by the thrift shop, and CASA customers will have the opportunity to purchase new clothes at reduced prices. Wearing new, quality clothes boosts self-esteem and goes a long way to building a person’s confidence.”
