Debenhams unveils seductive lingerie line 'Reger Noir'
Sep '13
Debenhams announced that it is launching a new range of seductive lingerie from one of its most established designer collaborations, Reger by Janet Reger.

Reger Noir by Janet Reger is a 21 piece collection of luxurious lingerie sets, glamorous basques and even a sexy satin embroidered eye mask. Both contemporary and alluring, the range embodies sheer luxury and indulgence with a smouldering colour palette.

As part of the Designers at Debenhams stable, the retailer has worked closely with Aliza Reger (daughter of Janet) to bring the well-known Reger heritage to the high street.

Says Aliza Reger: “My mother was unquestionably the first lady of lingerie and the Reger Noir collection remains true to her vision for luxurious, feminine, sexy lingerie.

“Today, more than 40 years on from our first sale, we are extremely proud to be offering that same legacy to every corner of the UK through our partnership with Debenhams. After all, every woman deserves to look great and feel sexy.”

The thirteen year partnership has seen sales of more than one million bra and brief sets and the collection is ideal for Christmas gifting.

Sharon Webb, Head of Debenhams Lingerie Buying and Design says; “Reger by Janet Reger is one of our most successful lingerie brands and key to our unrivalled collection of Designers at Debenhams.

“The Reger Noir by Janet Reger collection embodies the brand’s core values of design, intricate details, comfort and fit, but with a sexy and alluring edge. The range includes low cut bras, smaller knickers with flirtatious bow details, peek-a-boo keyhole details and exquisite laces, silks and satins.

“We are thrilled to be offering a more luxurious and seductive collection in time for Christmas. Reger by Janet Reger lingerie continues to be the quintessential romantic gift. It’s the brand that men in the know gravitate towards at certain times of the year”.

From its launch in 1967, Janet Reger’s mainline was synonymous with femininity, seduction, romance and glamour. The brand’s introduction turned lingerie on its head with its innovative approach and paved the way for other designers in this arena. Celebrity fans included Joan Collins, Princess Margaret and Kylie Minogue.
