This fall, get ready to celebrate winter with more Chaos and CTR at Warren Miller’s Ticket to Ride. The newest chapter in the legendary film series, Ticket to Ride, takes filmgoers on an action-packed journey with the world’s best skiers and snowboarders. Catch these athletes at their career-best, and discover the path that put them at the top of the steepest peaks in this 64th annual ski and snowboard film.

Warren Miller’s Ticket to Ride premieres in Salt Lake City, on October 11, 2013 at Abravanel Hall, with shows sweeping the nation from October to December. This year, for the first time, screenings are coming to Texas, Montana and more.

Chaos Headwear - featuring CTR Chaos Thermal Regulation, is a proud sponsor of the 2013/14 tour. In their third official season as a tour sponsor, Chaos is supplying Warren Miller Entertainment (WME) with custom co-branded merchandise and WME hats for the film crew to hand out to select attendees at shows across the country. Chaos is also offering film attendees the special opportunity to purchase discounted hats via WME’s promotional website coupons.

Experience the immense energy of the world’s most sought-after destinations and discover the “epicenter of big lines” in Alaska, Montana’s Big Sky Country and the exotic, winter playgrounds of Kazakhstan, Iceland and Greenland. The trams and trains in Switzerland climb Mt. Eiger and the fishing boats in Norway carry you to the remote islands of Alesund. Once again, real winter begins with Warren Miller and it’s time to get your Ticket to Ride.

Look for world-class action sport athletes as diverse as the terrain, including World Cup champions and Olympians, Seth Wescott, Ted Ligety and Julia Mancuso, plus legendary ski mountaineers like Chris Davenport, and freeskiers Colby West and Sean Pettit.

Park & pipe veteran, Gretchen Bleiler throws down in Aspen proving “girls can look like girls and still rip.” An all-female troupe of Jess McMillan, Julia Mancuso and Sierra Quitiquit explore the expansive terrain that is Iceland’s Troll Peninsula, and a snowboard segment in Valdez brings legends Seth Wescott and Rob Kingwill together for a rowdy, big mountain adventure.

With a look to the future, “this year, Warren Miller has offset the emissions impact from filming Ticket to Ride, which is a small step toward creating a sustainable business for the future,” said Max Bervy, Managing Director.

“As a stakeholder in winter, WME is committed to using our voice to help preserve our winters. Continuing our 64-year legacy, we look to make films that excite and inspire skiers and riders worldwide, and we must work with and impassion our audience to pass down the tradition and make positive changes for generations to come.”

Warren Miller shows are an experience, a pre-season party not to be missed – attendees can win skivacations, heli-trips, prizes and gear, plus meet the athletes and get access to exclusive resort and retail savings from Warren Miller partners. Tickets can be purchased at REI locations in select markets across the nation with no added ticketing fees.
