The Idaho office of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (CBC) announced that men’s big and tall apparel superstore Destination XL (DXL), formerly Casual Male, recently opened in Meridian, Idaho. CBC NRT Vice President of Retail and Office Group Sherry Schoen represented DXL in the selection of a 9,000-square-foot retail space that opened on August 20, 2013.

Additionally, Sherry Schoen will continue to work with DXL’s Chief Real Estate Officer Peter Schmitz in expanding the DXL brand in other key Western markets.

“We plan to roll out 55 to 60 DXL stores over the next three years in markets where we have a Casual Male brand presence,” said Schmitz. “We will replace 470 Casual Male stores with 250 DXL stores by the end of 2015, and anticipate a significant revenue increase. Needless to say, we are busy and grateful to have Sherry supporting our efforts.”

CBC NRT’s Schoen added, “DXL is an impressive retail store that offers an extensive assortment of clothing and shoes in a convenient one-stop concept. I am excited to be working with Peter and the DXL team to ensure the Boise store opening achieves optimal success.”
