The decision will see the Australian-owned performance apparel brand align with Netball Victoria as its official apparel supplier, a new partnership that has been embraced by Netball Victoria Chief Executive Officer Michelle Plane.
“Quality gear and kit appropriate for all things netball related is extremely important for Netball Victoria as we look for sports apparel that is not only comfortable, but also stylish and functional,” Ms Plane said.
“Partnering with BLK will allow Netball Victoria to kit out our State teams in high quality gear, as well as provide support to our members who require netball related apparel. It is an exciting opportunity as we look to continue to improve the netball apparel for all of the people in Victoria who play the sport.”
BLK’s CEO Tyron Brant advised his excitement around this agreement as it showcases the brands direction to create apparel across all codes and performance levels, as well as provides support to an association embedded within the community it operates.
“As our brand continues to rise as a global leader in sportswear, a strong emphasis still exists within the company to develop partnerships and improve apparel supplied to associations at the grassroots level.” Mr Brant said.
This contract will enable BLK to design and manufacture technical performance apparel for Netball Victoria representative players and support staff. It also provides for reduced costs to all Netball Victoria members.
