Jinjiang govt signs deal with Beijing clothing institute

The Jinjiang municipal government has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (also known as Beijing Institute of Clothing) as a part of the effort to transform Jinjiang city into an important industrial base, especially for menswear and sportswear.
 
As per the agreement, the two sides will exchange high-level visits, and cooperate on industrial development policy, training, research and technology development and other areas, seeking common development through complementary advantages.
 
The agreement also provides for organizing lectures, dialogues, visits and field trips for students to understand the international market, recent technological developments and new marketing tools, and in the process build innovation teams and help corporate culture.
 
Training classes would also be conducted on Fashion Art and Engineering by experts from companies like Anta and Seven Wolves.
 
The agreement is expected to further promote university teaching, research work and directly serve the industries and enterprises to achieve the transformation.
