Thomas Rath Trousers line offers lady chic & leather looks

Autumn/Winter 2014/15 sees the Thomas Rath Trousers collection presenting lady chic and leather looks very much in tune with the “rock meets gentlewoman” theme.

Checks are reminiscent of British chic while prints feature as Autumn/Winter harmonies. Exquisite materials and lovingly selected details make every pair of Thomas Rath Trousers a real design object.

Styles

Autumn/Winter 2014/15 is very much in tune with slim fit styles: alongside Rath’s typical jodhpurs RUDY, ROCCO is a new addition to the range – drainpipes in a biker look.

The classic style HUGO – ladies’ trousers in a men’s cut – comes with a new accessory: a long watch chain in that dandy style. Sporty 5-pockets and trousers in joggingbottom styles contrast with cigarette pants and feminine styled men’s trousers.

Colours

The colour scheme of the collection ranges from rich and dark winter tones like midnight blue and winter aubergine through to discreet nuances like greyish khaki, walnut or evening taupe. The crossover check theme toys with colours like oxblood and royal green in combination with black.

Patches & Prints

When sporty flair and cool style meet lady chic and opulence, patching becomes a must.

Thomas Rath mixes leather with jacquard, jersey with lace and denim with checks. Providing contrasts here is a jogging silhouette in classy fabrics with velvet sequins while crepe comes as evening trousers with rhinestone detailing.

“Snake meets Jersey” presents patching with animal skin looks and guarantees to get you noticed. Prints convince us as winter flower prints in brown-cognac shades with bronzed side seams or as paisleys on a winter chino made of satinised cotton in harmonious autumnal shades.

Crossover Check

Autumn/Winter 2014/15 sees the Thomas Rath Trousers collection presenting a wide range of checks: HUGO features in classic Black Watch or as Glen check.

“ROCCO meets Biker” puts a new slant on biker looks and features as black neoprene cotton bikers with Black Watch inserts. Featuring alongside this are check prints in a tweed look on sporty, slim shapes or on the diagonal and oversized as XXL check on high-quality materials.

Patents meets Leather

Thomas Rath uses leather in multiple ways: from leather waistbands and dinner suit stripes on trousers through to jetted pocket openings. Highlights here are real leather leggings with loving attention to inside waistband details, redefining the leather trend in that skinny look.

High-quality leather looks convince us as allover styles interspersed by classy jacquards and skull-shaped rivets. Partially positioned as well as quilted topstitched inserts and zipper details make the new biker complete.

Coolness guaranteed! Also gaining ground here is patent leather, for instance as dinner suit stripes on trousers on leopard skin or as shiny rubber at trouser waistbands. Little lacquered pendants on zippers demonstrate loving attention to detail and the brand’s select design slant.

Denim Love Affair

Denim scores points and presents itself it all its facets: as boyfriend jeans CHRIS with destroyed embroidery and cool washes or in the FABIO style as black denims in a baby bootcut. Thomas Rath toys here with underlain checks and skull and pyramid rivets. Rock chic denim meets lovely details!
