The eyes of the Rugby world are on the UAE this week with BLK central to the on and off field action. Sol Mokdad, BLK Middle East’s, Managing Director, said demand and interest in the BLK brand has so far exceeded all expectations.

“Over the past year we have forged strong partnerships with a range of clubs from grassroots through to elite teams across various sporting disciplines around the Dubai district.”

“Through these partnerships BLK has been able to not only supply innovative, industry leading apparel to clubs and their supporters, but also offer full-service business solutions,” Mokdad said.

BLK are the Official Apparel Partner of the A1 Ain Amblers Rugby Club, which boasts one of the strongest Rugby communities across the region and are the official hosts of this weeks A1 Ain 7’s tournament which preceded the IRB Emirates Dubai 7’s tournament.

The success of BLK’s Middle East’s all encompassing approach to business is showcased through the heavy brand presence in the host of 7’s tournaments currently underway.

Through new partnerships forged with a host of local clubs, BLK is dominating the apparel  landscape on and off field including a team of sporting legends who are competing to help raise awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Five-year-old Jack Johnson, the son of former Wigan rugby league star Andy, currently suffers from the debilitating muscle-wasting disease for which, there currently is no cure.

Two years on from setting up the Joining Jack campaign, thousands of pounds has been raised for research into the illness.
