GOW Trainer launches unparalleled workout wear integrated with a state-of-the-art Fitmitter heart rate monitor and smartphone App to give fitness enthusiasts and aspiring athletes everywhere a new inspiration to get up and GOW!

GOW Trainer is truly state-of-the-art as the only smart apparel, Fitmitter, and app combination currently available on the market, that seamlessly integrates and tracks progress in real-time and over the long-term. GOW delivers a fitness ecosystem like no other that runners, cyclists, and everyone who wants to get smart about fitness will love.

Steve Schwartz, Brookstone Vice President Merchandising and Product Development said, "The wearable tech trend is gaining momentum and Brookstone has been on the leading edge with various solutions. GOW's advanced fitness apparel is a great fit for [Brookstone] customers seeking a superior fitness technology garment to improve performance and enhance comfort."

The GOW Trainer shirt and Sports Bra are lightweight, moisture wicking, and seamless for great fit and comfort. Smart thread cardiac sensors are woven into the shirt and bra and the wireless GOW Fitmitter (heart rate monitor) attaches easily to the front. Simply put on the shirt, clip-on on the Fitmitter and GOW! GOW Trainer does the rest to track your activity and help you to be on top of your game.

The Fitmitter heart rate monitor sends cardiac performance and exercise data (activity type, duration, distance, pace, and calories burned) to the GOW Trainer app via Bluetooth wireless technology. At GOWTrainer.com, a comprehensive online training center, you can create training plans, track workout progress, analyze and share your performance and then link to specific plans, series and races.

The app tracks fitness workouts for all types of sports and activities, indoors or outside. The app also connects you to the community of "GOWers" where you can challenge others, share workouts or see who else is on the GOW to stay motivated. During a workout, you can share your progress and data with friends and exchange messages as you GOW!

Javier Garcia, Co-Founder and Chairman, of GOW said, "We are thrilled to launch GOW Trainer in Boston, and bring GOW Trainer to athletes all over the U.S. who want to get smart about making their workouts as effective and efficient as possible. Boston is a city with tremendous energy and smarts – and we're excited to 'get up and GOW' here!"

Marathoner and Boston-based "Mom On a Run" blogger Nan Hill said, "The GOW Sports Bra is comfortable and high-performing when I run or workout at the gym. Using the GOW Trainer app in conjunction, to track my activities in detail, accelerates my progress in reaching my personal fitness goals. I have more insight into how I'm doing and what I have to do next to improve. Every athlete has different ambitions, and GOW is a great product for creating custom plans that meet individual needs."
