Belarusian state concern Bellegprom will supply clothing and other items to Israel, according to a an agreement reached during the 4th session of the Joint Belarus-Israel Committee on trade and economic cooperation held from March 31 to April 3, 2014, the Press Service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Both the parties also agreed to continue joint efforts to organize visits of Belarus and Israeli business communities in each other’s country, and also to continue other activities whose primary purpose is to intensify bilateral economic and trade cooperation, the statement said.
The outcome of the joint session of the Belarus-Israel Committee was shared by Belarusian Ambassador to Israel Vladimir Skvrotsov with Director General of Chamber of Commerce Gedaliah Koltanyukom.
The Ambassador also met Israeli Minister of Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landwehr, who is also co-chairman of the Joint Belarus-Israel committee on trade and economic cooperation and discussed practical steps to implement the agreements reached by the committee. Implementation of internal procedures by Israel for the introduction of visa-free regime with Belarus was also discussed.
