Animal, the UK’s leading action sports lifestyle brand has announced that the label will be stocked by a key European wholesale account for Spring Summer 2014. Blue Tomato, Europe’s leading action sport e-tailer will feature over 200 different products across menswear, womenswear and accessories.
Based in Austria, with sixteen stores in both Austria and Germany, Blue Tomato boasts over 500,000 subscribers and is the leading retailer across Europe for action sports apparel and equipment.
The retailer has chosen to secure Animal as a key stocked brand because of its unique British identity, along with its strong apparel and accessories range. Animal appeals to Blue Tomato’s action-sport based customer and is anticipated to be a key growth sales channel for the company.
Animal’s International Sales Director, David Abramson, comments “Blue Tomato is a fantastic retailer of action-sports brands and we are delighted they see such potential for Animal in the European market.”
With Blue Tomato now in place, Animal is now targeting additional European customers and forecasts “strong double-digit growth on International sales in 2015” says David.
