As part of the Düsseldorf fashion fair CPD Thomas Rath will be organising the fashion show “le jardin versailles” from 8.30 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014. In the impressive setting of the Max Mothes former screw-making factory the German fashion designer will be presenting his new collection for Spring/Summer 2015.

Alongside his semi couture line he will also be showcasing the current collection of the premium women’s trousers line Thomas Rath Trousers. This was developed in 2012 in collaboration with the trouser specialist Atelier GARDEUR and combines the best of Thomas Rath and Atelier GARDEUR: a stylishly unique premium brand boasting tradition and skilled trouser-making perfection.

In Spring/Summer 2015 the Thomas Rath Trousers collection promises classic elegance and sporty casual flair at the highest level. Black and white meet to translate art and pop art in a totally new way. Natural tones and Ikat patterns exude ethno spirit while soft pastels come in the form of delicate prints or in metallic looks making for feminine looks.

Exquisite materials and lovingly selected details make every pair of Thomas Rath Trousers a design object. Visitors can look forward to trousers from all three theme worlds – “Business”, “Hot Fashion” and “Sport”.

Some 400 spectators are invited including numerous celebrities. The impressive show promises a firework staging inspired by the gardens at Versailles: pink interplays of light, vintage aviaries, pastel nuances and grass green features conjure up a fascinating world of experience that draws its inspiration from the French chateau gardens and Ladurée-style interior.

Featuring on the catwalk alongside German presenter and society expert Vanessa Blumhagen will be model Marie Amière and star reporter Renato Leo. Counter tenor Oswald Musielski will provide the musical backdrop to the evening adding a further highlight in the supporting programme with his classic soul charm.
