Adidas NEO label rolls out stylish AW14 Selena Gomez line

Selena Gomez, global style icon for the adidas NEO Label, has further developed her role as a NEO guest designer by taking inspiration from the city. The collection expresses a downtown feel in July, August & September and features a more uptown feel in October, November & December. Styling it up with elevated details & feminine fabrics combined with more edgy prints starts the season off only to seamlessly move into embossing's, street inspired prints, teddy's and Sherpa's for keeping warm in the city chill.

A key detail this season is printed lace, keeping a feminine element at the forefront, but giving it an edge by printing the lace with a skull graphic. Teaming this with denim, either the sleeveless denim top or the denim bomber jacket creates the ultimate autumn city look.

The new Selena Gomez collection is all about mixing it up and layering your items – The collection allows for trans-seasonal pieces which are perfect for layering, allowing you to tailor your wardrobe to the late summer weather as well as the chill of early autumn. To work a dressed up look, the Uptown colour palette of black and gold with dark burgundy tones will keep you looking stylish for a night out.

Material contrasts, fabrics and layers of detail are at the center of the collection and add value to each individual product to create the ideal overall look. Starting off the season with gentle tones of cream white and frosty mint and pairing them with grey heathers, denim and black. As the weather cools, the colours will move into more sedate black and burgundy tones with gold trims.

Combine your look with the Selena Gomez footwear collection, which conveys a fusion of street wear & city attitude, taking inspiration from the high street to spin classic basketball looks as well as integrate key on-trend silhouettes. Moving into Q4 the uptown inspiration showcases premium winter styles using fur & metallic detailing providing a truly sophisticated look.

The Selena Gomez Accessories collection is all about easy styling and effortless chic. Lights scarves, a cross-body bag or a denim clutch would complete any outfit. Moving into the colder weather, a tote or a cross-body bag with a camo print will be a perfect match to any Autumn-inspired outfit. Warm accessories; a cozy scarf and a slouchy beanie with a faux fur pompom, will complete the look and keep you warm in the city all winter long.

The Selena Gomez Autumn Winter 14 collection captures the city feel from downtown to uptown seamlessly moving from late summer till winter. But not only is the collection going to be in stores and online come August 6th, you will also be able to see it on the runway in September in New York City, as Selena hosts the #NEOrunway fashion show. This fashion show will be curated by teens around the world, by voting on several aspects of the show, like hair, make-up, music and outfits. This will truly be a fashion show made by teens, for teens.
