Zachary Prell names Chuck Lucia as president

Men’s sportswear brand Zachary Prell has named Chuck Lucia as president, effective from July 13, 2015 and he will oversee the continued development and expansion of the brand.

“He will be responsible for all operations and growth initiatives, including domestic and global wholesale sales distribution, e-commerce, licensing and setting up of retail locations,” the brand informed in a press release.

Lucia, who has a background in apparels, brings twenty-five years of menswear industry experience to Zachary Prell.

Most recently, Lucia held the position of senior vice president, North America sales at Hugo Boss USA, where he grew wholesale revenue exponentially.

Lucia was employed by Hugo Boss USA for the past seventeen years in increasingly senior sales positions and played an integral role in it becoming a household name in the menswear market.

Founder Zachary Prell said, "We are thrilled to have Chuck Lucia join as our new president, as he brings a wealth of sales experience across the sportswear, furnishings and clothing market segments.”

“He is a proven business-builder and accomplished leader with a demonstrated track record of success,” Prell added.

“On a personal level, I have been impressed by his loyalty, strong character and tremendous respect that he engenders from the retail community,” he observed.

Commenting on his appointment, Chuck Lucia too added, "I am excited to join Zachary Prell as its new president at this pivotal moment in the brand's development.”

Zachary Prell manufactures, markets and sells an innovative collection of contemporary sportswear for men that embodies the fundamental principles of modern fit, clean silhouettes and enduring style.

The brand initially re-imagined the men's sport shirt in exclusive European fabrics cut for an active, urban lifestyle and quickly expanded to include a complete range of effortless, everyday luxe essentials.

The brand is available in about 200 points of distribution throughout the United States, including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue as well as other leading specialty retailers. (AR)
