SafetyTies expands its line to over 90 new styles

As everyone knows, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And that's exactly why healthcare providers are raving about SafetyTies, antimicrobial neckties that reduce the spread of infectious diseases and food-borne illness.
In fact, these 100-percent silk, stain-resistant ties have impressed so many in the medical marketplace that SafeSmart, Inc, the St. Augustine, Fla.-based company that creates and distributes the ties, has just expanded its line to over 90 new fashionable styles.
"We are extremely excited to offer our customers more fashion options," said April Strider, SafeSmart Inc.'s co-founder.
"When medical professionals learn about how regular ties can actually be a conduit for contagion, they're shocked.
But who has time to get a tie cleaned on a daily basis?" As medical facilities take more steps to control healthcare-associated infection rates, more institutions are recognizing clothing such as neckties as potential vectors.
Since SafeSmart Inc. launched its product last spring, demand for the ties has steadily risen. Additionally, the company has received numerous requests for more color options.
In response, SafeSmart Inc has tripled its line of SafetyTies and now also offers custom design services, including logo neckties.
"This is phenomenal growth for our company, given we've been making these ties for just over a year," Strider says. "We're keeping up with the demand, and are excited by the broadening of our customer base."
