Garments that will stimulate children

Males Malhas, producer of 36 million pieces per year, is one of the largest Brazilian garment manufacturers, owner of brands like Zig Zig Zaa, M. Collection and Malwee - this last one with eight different product lines.

Around 6000 persons work at the three plants in the State of Santa Catarina of which 3500 professionals work at the plant of Jaraguá do Sul where product development, knitting, dyeing, printing, cutting and sewing take place alongside the administrative area. In 1975, the charming, German style village of Pomerode received the second unit of Malwee and in 1982 Blumenau received the third one.

The company produces for adults and children, in different segments of clothing, such as fitness, presently an important niche of the apparel market, special sizes for a large consumer, an unique line inspired in art and culture and licensee lines like Betty Boop, Barbie, Disney characters, etc.

After a research carried out with pedagogues, psychologists, social attendants, family doctors and other professionals that deal with children, Malwee launched in 2007 the Zig Zig Zaa Brand.

This line, unique in Brazil and perhaps even worldwide has clothes developed to stimulate and prepare children to reach adulthood with a better knowledge of life.

The garments for boys and girls of different age groups depict a creative, intelligent, sensorial language, illustrated by colours, prints, and design. It even carries some prints adapted to the Braille alphabet for disabled kids.
