'Operation DRICARE' wins highly competitive distinctions

In keeping with the Company's revolutionary line of Performance FR garments, DRIFIRE's equally innovative website and its industry-first 'Operation DRICARE' online marketing program – developed in partnership with Boston-based marketing strategy, technology and design services company Silverscape, LLC -- were awarded Gold and Silver distinctions by the New England Direct Marketing Association at the organization's 27th annual awards event held Wednesday, June 11th.

From among more than 700 entries submitted by direct marketers throughout New England, DRIFIRE won these nationally-recognized distinctions for its website and for its Operation DRICARE program. Operation DRICARE, launched in March 2007, made available a million dollar's worth of garments online, at the cost of shipping only, to friends and family members of active duty U.S. soldiers.

This program garnered mainstream media coverage for the Company and led to multiple, national, community-inspired and family-driven fundraising efforts to sponsor the shipment of DRIFIRE's patented Performance FR garments.

Gaining Recognition Ahead of Significant, Long-Established Brand Names DRIFIRE captured its Gold Medal for Operation DRICARE in the category Consumer Email Campaign. The Company topped Nintendo America and a major agency which collected the silver and bronze awards in the category. DRIFIRE's Silver place finish was for its website, in the category of Consumer Website. In this category, DRIFIRE's site outdistanced that of Stanley Tools which took the bronze distinction. Gold went to Virgin Money.

The New England Direct Marketing Association is a regional professional association dedicated to the education and professional development of individuals interested in direct marketing. Each year the NEDMA awards honor innovative direct marketing campaigns and creative pieces that produce dramatic results.
