Menswear brand Turtle receives CNBC TV Award

Turtle, one of the leading menswear brand from India received the most anticipated award in the Indian Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Industry - 'CNBC TV 18's Emerging India Awards 2008' at Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom on July 8, 2008.
Mr. L. N. Mittal was the Guest of Honour. Union Commerce Minister and his counter part in UK, Mr. John Hutton presented the awards acknowledging the contribution of the winners in the economic growth of India.
Mr. Raghav Bahl, M.D., CNBC TV 18 Network, presented the award to Mr. Amit Ladsaria, Director, Turtle Limited on this prestigious occasion. Turtle has won the award in the Retail Trade category.
There were over 3 lakh entries across the 17 categories. Three finalists were selected in each category after two rigorous rounds of eliminations held at Mumbai, India.
The jury selected the winners in each category after evaluating the SME's overall business, financial and management strengths and their ability for sustainable value creation for key stakeholders.
Mr. Amit Ladsaria at this achievement said, “It gives us immense pleasure to have won the CNBC TV 18's Emerging India Awards 2008. It is a moment of great honor to receive the award.”
He further adds, “I would like to thank all of them who were associated with Turtle. Our passion, endeavors and the synergy in the value chain has finally been reflected and I am really happy that our efforts have been recognized.”
