Ermenegildo Zegna, the global men's luxury fashion brand known for its fine tailoring and innovative use of the most exquisite fabrics, announces the launch of its Platinum 'Made to Measure' Collection.

The arrival of this line heralds a new era in the 'Made to Measure' luxury-tailoring service for men. The label reaches a new pinnacle of sartorial excellence, offering a collection of unique shirting and exclusively created suiting fabrics from the Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna, woven from nature's most precious natural materials for the Zegna 'Made to Measure' customer.

Launched in Milan and Rome as well as 60 top Ermenegildo Zegna stores across the globe, Platinum continues the Italian brand's quest to produce the world's finest fabrics and flawless menswear, with the introduction of an exclusive made to measure fabric collection.

As the world leader in luxury men's clothing, Ermenegildo Zegna is held in high esteem for artfully creating prestigious fabrics and handmade Italian tailored suits. Destined for the Platinum connoisseur of the finest tailoring, the suit fabrics are unique to Zegna and are the result of continuous research and innovation.

The '14MilMil14' and '15MilMil15 Double Warp' signatures indicate the extreme fineness of the threads, which are a mere 14 and 15 microns thick respectively. These Platinum suit fabrics are made from carefully selected, limited quantities of superfine Australian merino wool.

Characterised by its extremely fine handle, the '14MilMil14' is luxuriously soft and bright in appearance, breathable yet strong and resistant. The '15MilMil15 Double Warp' combines the same qualities of soft handling, high performance and elegant draping with an especially woven double-faced fabric. Both are created for the man who expresses his individuality and masculinity through impeccable tailoring, sumptuous to the touch and sharp to the eye.

Both have been produced at the Ermenegildo Zegna wool mill where the complete cycle is carried out – from selecting the finest natural materials to spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing. Traditional craftsmanship is backed by the use of modern technology and tomorrow's innovation, in the artful creation of sumptuous Italian fabrics, as though blending a fine 'Grand Crus'.

Three acclaimed made to measure tailored styles ensure that the needs and tastes of every Zegna man are catered for: Milano offers a contemporary fitted slim silhouette; Roma, a timeless neo classical business fit and Couture, with a slimmer waisted effect and slender silhouette, exuding a powerful Italian style.

Customers can choose the fabric style and details amongst numerous other variations that make a garment unique including the choice of single or double-breasted jacket, the shape and material of the buttons, rear vents, buttonholes on the sleeves that can be open or closed, or the shape of pockets on trousers and the choice of turn ups.
