Roblin Athletic to take Skins to the next level
Oct '08
Skins, the global leader in the development and manufacturing of engineered, gradient compression technology, announced its launch into the Canadian market through a partnership with distributor Roblin Athletic Inc.

Roblin Athletic will focus on the development and growth of sales through specialty retail stores, Skins USA's current distribution channel for their compression equipment.

"After explosive US growth in a short period of time, we are very excited to take Skins to the next level," says Jon Graff, Brand Manager for Skins USA.

"With our advanced technology, there is a need for a high level of specialized retailer education. Roblin Athletic is committed to retailer education, thus was the perfect choice for Canadian distribution."

Well set up to support independent specialty retailers, Roblin Athletic is an in-stock distributor, offering fast shipping and a service-focused national sales team known for superior product knowledge.

The company will introduce Skins to select run, cycle and ski specialty stores coast-to-coast beginning November 1, 2008.

Enthusiasm for Skins in Canada has grown tremendously as information on BioAcceleration makes its way across the border.

Skins apply a unique surface pressure formula over specific body parts, triggering an acceleration of blood flow. Accelerated blood flow equals increased oxygen to working muscles, which enhances performance.

Improved circulation also helps the body eliminate lactic acid, the culprit in delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), and other metabolic wastes.

The scientific evidence behind Skins performance-enhancement claims is vast, with independent testing and in-house research proving the benefits of Skins for elite and amateur athletes alike.

Athletes can expect a significant increase in circulation/venous return, extended time until exhaustion, extra muscular endurance and a drastic reduction in post-exercise recovery time, among other results.
