Doggett Advertising announced that it had recently won the Hartwell Apparel Account. Founded in 1939, Hartwell Classic Apparel is one of the nation's leading suppliers to the promotional products industry.

The company's most popular offering is the Hartwell Apparel Dryefx line of moisture management polo shirts and knits, featuring high performance moisture wicking properties. Hartwell also offers state-of-the-art, in-house embroidery and screen-printing.

“We are thrilled with this terrific win and acquiring a client with the stature and reputation of Hartwell Apparel. They are well recognized as a leader in their industry,” said George Doggett, President of Doggett Advertising.

Doggett Advertising has begun working on Hartwell Apparel's catalog and various marketing initiatives. In early 2009, Doggett will begin working with Hartwell on brand development, which will include long-range strategic brand positioning and internal brand adoption. Doggett Advertising is the leading brand development agency in the Southeast. Doggett Advertising is the only certified Brand Strategy agency in the Charlotte market through its membership and certification by the Brand Establishment network. www.brandestablishment.com

“We are extremely happy about having selected Doggett Advertising,” said Kevin McColgan, CEO of Hartwell Apparel. “They have a tremendous reputation for excellent work. I was really impressed with their experience of building the Outer Banks brand from a start-up to a $100 million company,” said McColgan.

“This is an exciting account for Doggett Advertising,” said Jeff Doggett, Creative Director of Doggett. “We're excited to get some great creative out there, that communicates all the advantages that Hartwell offers, in a fresh, compelling way,” said Doggett.

Doggett Advertising was founded in 1988 by George Doggett. The agency has experience in a number of categories including apparel, automotive, real estate, and financial and professional services.

Hartwell Classic Apparel is one of the nation's premier suppliers to the promotional products industry. The company was founded in 1939 to manufacture men's work clothes and uniforms. Patriarch Partners, LLC, an investment firm managing over $4.5 billion in assets, purchased Hartwell Apparel in 2005.
