China to implement standardizations in children's wear

The National Technical Committee of Apparel Standardization has announced that it has approved another three new national standards for children's wear, which will be put into formal implementation from August 1 this year.
It is reported that the three national standards are; safety requirements of children's clothing rope and drawstring; safety requirements of children's coat drawstring and improving mechanical safety of children's clothing.
The introduction of these standards will play a positive role in regulating and promoting Chinese children's wear market in overseas markets as there have been numerous complaints with regards to these three measures.
At present, China has a standard system which includes basic standard, method standard, product standard, safety standard for children's wear and now with the introduction of these three measures, it has now reached international levels.
