Wal-Mart bestows 'Supplier of Year' award on KDS Garments

The globally reputed US retailer, 'Wal-Mart' selected KDS Garment Industry as 'Supplier of the year' for 2008.
At a function held in Chittagong, the KDS group received the diamond crest in recognition of timely delivery of quality apparel.
Mr. Hasan Khaled, General Manager and Mr. Abdullah, Divisional Merchandiser of Wal-Mart offered the award to the Chairman and Managing Director of KDS Garments.
Wal-Mart, imports about $500 million worth of apparels from Bangladesh per year.
