The largest clothing exporter in Egypt, Arafa Holdings will supply 12,000 suits per annum in 2010 to French fashion brand 'Cerutti 1881'. This order will be dispatched on behalf of Italian textile and apparel company; Forall Group.
Forall Group, which owns various fashion brands, won a five-year license to produce and distribute Cerruti 1881 across the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America and Asia. Arafa Holdings has a 35 percent stake in the Forall Group.
Arafa Holdings which began production of suits in Egypt in September would be designing, manufacturing and marketing Cerruti 1881 men's suits for the company and the deal would be able to generate sales of US $18 million in 2010.
Informing about the deal, an official spokesman said, “For Arafa, it means, growth on the retail level for our Italian subsidiary in which we own 35 percent and also means we have new production volumes for our suit manufacturing facility”.
