Bangladesh-based 'Pitam Garments Limited' is planning to establish a garments and accessories manufacturing industry in Chittagong EPZ. The company will invest US $3.4 million for this establishment.
This garment factory will offer employment to around 4,500 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza) and Pitam Garments, pertaining to setting up of this unit.
Mr. Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member of Bepza, and Mr. Md Khondoker Mahbubur Rob, Director of Pitam Garments, represented their respective organizations during the signing ceremony.
