The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Name of Product: Boys Fleece & Flannel Zip Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings

Units: About 18,300

Distributor: Jason Evans Associates, LLC, of Hewlett, N.Y.

Hazard: The hooded zip sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. Sold at: Burlington Coat Factory from September 2006 through October 2009 for about $12 to 20.

Manufactured in: Pakistan

Remedy: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard or return the garment to either the place of purchase or to Jason Evans for a full refund.
