Golf brand Ahead to anchor apparel section at PGA

PGA Golf Exhibitions and Ahead USA, a leading designer and marketer of branded headwear, apparel and golf accessories, announced the continued support of the PGA Merchandise Show. The Ahead Authentic men's apparel line; Ahead Headwear, Ahead Accessories and the Kate Lord™ collection has consistently participated in the PGA Merchandise Show since each brand's inception and will have an expanded presence during the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 28-30 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

"The PGA Show has always been a great venue for us to showcase our entire line of products," said Ken Shwartz, CEO, Ahead. "Our first show was in 1996 just selling hats in an 8 x 10 booth, and now we have grown into one of the largest and busiest booths at the PGA Show. We are very appreciative to our customers who have supported us through the years and always look forward seeing them and enhancing our industry relationships."

Ahead brand units return to anchor the apparel section, in Booth No. 4757 and 4773. The Ahead booth will be buzzing with activity this year with new product introductions in headwear, Mens Authentics, Kate Lord and its accessories collection along with special in-booth events such as the annual Hat Drop scheduled for Friday, Jan.29 at 5:00 p.m.

"Ahead annually provides an exciting presence on the PGA Merchandise Show floor and is a great partner to PGA Golf Shows," said PGA Golf Exhibitions Group Vice President and General Manager Ed Several. "Each year, we know that our attending PGA Professionals and retailers anticipate excitement at the Ahead booth whether it's new product launches or their infamous cap drop."

Since its inception in 1954, the PGA Merchandise Show has become the world's most influential golf trade show and the global summit for the business of golf. In January 2010, influential golf manufacturers will exhibit; international leaders will address industry issues; timely education seminars and relevant best practices will be offered; new golf employment initiatives will be launched; and professional networking will build important relationships.

The PGA Merchandise Show, organized in partnership with The PGA of America, is one of three leading golf trade shows in PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions' golf portfolio including the PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas and the Ontario PGA Golf Merchandise Show in Toronto, Canada.
