OLYMP Bezner: dynamic growth despite economic crisis

This has resulted in an impressive product portfolio for the 2010 Spring/Summer season, with great effort having been lavished on numerous details such as prints and embroidery. These can now be seen on some inner collar bands and cuffs. The combination of materials used ranges from Oxford, fine stripes and prints as edging materials, providing an attractive casual look. Very fine poplin fabrics form the basis of the shirt collection, which also uses seersucker, light cloqué and pure linen fabrics. Perfectly coordinated with the shirt collection, this year's polo shirts once again feature various combinations of colours.

Owner and CEO Mark Bezner says, "Our partners in the clothing retail industry have already re-warded these changes with very encouraging pre-order levels. Now we are relying on the accep-tance and buying behaviour of customers." The extended leisurewear range is intended to appeal to the same consumer group as buy the business shirts. "The working professional who swears by the excellent wear performance and care properties of an "OLYMP Luxor" shirt every day shouldn't have to forgo this comfort in his leisure time," is how he explains the increased commitment to fashion. The current share of turnover for casual shirts is 25 per cent, based on pre-order volume, achieved with fashionable articles from the collection. It is intended that this share for pre-orders will be significantly increased.

Changing Moods: The new OLYMP shirt collection for Autumn/Winter 2010

Shades of brown and natural colours are a clear expression of the trend towards nature and form the focus of the new OLYMP world of colour for the 2010 Autumn/Winter season. These include basic shades like rich brown tones, cognac, camel, dark red, precious mahogany, cayenne, petrol, green and olive. New elegant colour combinations such as brown/petrol, blue/cayenne, green/berry or smoky blue/cognac, form another modern thread through the shirt collections. Dusky tones of col-our like smoky blue, cognac and olive have a fascinating changeable or "changeant" effect, achieved by the use of alternating colours.

In 2010 OLYMP will showcase itself in its own showrooms and at numerous trade fairs

OLYMP will again present the current Autumn/Winter 2010 shirt collection on all major platforms. So over the course of the coming weeks OLYMP will be represented at the trend-setting fashion fairs, e.g. HOT in Salzburg, Austria, the CIFF in Copenhagen, Denmark, Moda Menswear in Bir-mingham, England, and the CPM in Moscow, Russia. The new collection will also be on show at the OLYMP showrooms in Dusseldorf Halle 29, the Hamburg Modecentrum fashion centre, the Munich MTC fashion and textile centre and the Sindelfinger Euro Fashion Center for international traders.
